Withdrawal Policy

It is your responsibility as a CEP student to ensure that you have a clear path to completion of your enrolled program/s within four to six weeks of enrolment.   If, after enrolment, you experience circumstances beyond your control that limit your ability to perform normally in your enrolled program/s, you may apply for withdrawal via Form MA.F.0091 - ‘Withdrawal from Program’.  This form is included in Appendix E of the Student Handbook.

If your application to withdraw meets all of the minimum requirements as stated on the form, you will be approved for withdrawal from the program/s nominated on the form.  The grade of W(ithdrawn) is not applied to your academic record until the semester close date.

You may re-enroll in the program/s from which you withdrew in a subsequent semester. All record of progress through the program/s from your original enrolment will not be retained, and you will be required to start from the beginning of that program.

Refund Policy

If you are approved for withdrawal from your enrolled program/s and your circumstances are considered to be exceptional (eg, bereavement, serious illness), all tuition fees paid will be refunded to the original payee, less an administration fee of $66 per enrolment (including GST).

Approved withdrawals due to circumstances not considered to be exceptional do not qualify for refund of tuition fees.

This policy is deemed to be fair because students can enrol in a program any time in a semester up until the last month of the semester, and should only do so when then can see a clear path to completion of their enrolled program/s within four to six weeks of enrolment.

All refunds are processed in the two weeks following the semester close date.

Failure to complete within a semester

If you do not complete all mandatory assessment items for a program within the semester in which you enrolled, you will be required to re-enroll in the program in a subsequent semester, and your tuition fees will be forfeited. Tuition fees will apply for re-enrolment.
